this is a wiener dog or a dachshund .They are short long dogs. The wieners have floppy ears and long snouts.

fun fact wiener dog in spanish is perro salchicha whitch translates to sausage dog because dog is perro and sausage is salchicha.

I have two favorite weiner dogs of all time. Dixie and Max. Dixie was a loyal follower and she kept an eye on the whole neighborhood not allowing bigger dogs to bother anyone. When a big dog would wander over, she would bark at them and chase them off. Dixie would also walk around the whole block with me and I would not need a leash cause she stayed right there with me. Max on the other hand was a wild child. He would bark at things that werent there and sometimes he barfed on the floor. You could not pet him because he would get excited and pee on you. But he was a good dog and loved to play catch out in the front yard and lay up on top of the chair in the living room. Weiner dogs are my favorite kind of dogs.
